Hi Sylvia, Pic 1. There is a color brown colorcast. I remember seeing this as white - from discarded transparent plastic bottles. Here is mine not edited. There is no wrong nor right but if its learning white balance then the brown color wasn't what you saw hence the color cast. Pic 2. I am assuming your objective in this shot was to show the fisherman's net of various colors but it doesn't seem to be there. Always wait for the most opportune moment to take the shot. Here is mine not edited. Pic 3. balls of lights that keep on changing colors. Way underexpose. do not shoot white light as you will increase contrast and hence you increase the dynamic range and your pic will then have either over or under expose picture. Reduce the dynamic range by waiting for a color like blue or green or red to take the picture. Here is mine. These were all handheld as I didn't want to bring my tripod.

Sorry looks like your second picture is a night scene of the MBS and the bridge and it looks good enough.

Yes Teacher. The 2nd picture is the MBS, the bridge and the Art Science Museum. Here is picture 4 with reduction in the dynamic range versus picture 3. picture 4:

Hi Kailing, I prefer pic 2 to 1 as it looks more balanced to me. 3rd picture seems blown and the bacjground becomes totally dark with no details. pic 4, 5, 6 looks about the same exposure just different colour for the museum. I prefer 6 simply becoz of the additional searchlights that lights up the museum and enhance it. Great exposure for a newbie though.
