Hi marus, is not near the mRt. Is the entrance at Tanglin Gate (Holland road). The MRT is rather far away from this gate.

Kailing, the first photo is the best as its lighted by the sun. The last one the lotus leave and flower is nice but the surrounding is very messy so cropping in closer will reduce the mess and you can actually use photoshop to blur the surrounding so that the subject stands out. Sylvia's flowers are nice as the subject is clear and sharp and the backgrounds are blurred out. 2 pigeons make it kinda hard to find a rest point as you view first one and then the other and keep on doing that without a rest point. A rest point on the subject provides balance. Zooming in on 1 pigeon (the more interesting one) and using portrait mode might give you a better picture. The Band Stand picture would be better if you adhere to the rule of thirds. Horizontal i front of the bandstand 1/3, the tip of the conical roof on the vertical third,Removing the black post will also help to improve the picture.Just my 2 cents worth.
