OK we meet at Little India MRT, think that is the red line north east at the MRT itself. Not the exit as there are many exits and we may get lost. Call me if you get lost 97968111.

Hi all,
I would be going by bus. I'll take a bus from Orchard down to Serangoo Road. I think I would be able to see Tekka Center from the roadside. But anyway, I see you all at the MRT station easier for all of us.

The titles tell the story, good titling.Blurrinf the background might make the picture better as focus is then concentrated on the subject of interest. My 2 cents.

How do I blur the background?

The best way and easiest way to blur the background is to have a lens with a big aperture like f1.8. the 50mm f1.8 prime lens is cheap and good and will give this kind of effect, in other words it can "bokeh" the background with the subject remaining still sharp. Another way is to have the background far away from the subject and you should be able to use f4.0 and still blur the background sufficiently. Its all got to do with depth of field, if you use point and shoot it is nearly impossible to get the background blurred due to the small sensor. Here is one of my picture.

Yup, you mentioned about this lens. I nearly forgot about it. Thanks.
