We saw it while resting at Platform 2. There were two of them flying overhead, near the entrance to the river. And yes, it's a good and sharp lens, makes me wonder if I should ever get one now

Maybe at a later stage then can consider investing in more lenses. Still nursing my aching left arm , first time carrying a big lens and shooting birds, so not used to it (though I'm told that the 400mm is the smallest and lightest of the L lenses ), must really pump iron liao ;D Deswitch, Marcus, cannot give up birding yet, still got the osprey to professionally photograph first.
