I think you focus on the third star and use a rather shallow depth of field as the front 2 stars are softer.

You can increase your dof if you change to a smaller aperture like f16 and as dof is sharp 1/3 in front and 2/3 thirds behind, you might get the 2 stars in front also sharp.

i actually wanted to have the front and back to be blurish. onie the 3rd and 4th clearer. =)
