Went to Bottle Tree Park with the latest batch of students. Here's my attempt at hypofocal. Am not sure if I'd done it right, do kindly advice how to improve. Thanks. F11, 1/100, ISO 100 Then on the way out, got this Highlights and Shadows F22, 1/200, ISO 100

Hypafocal means that the picture is sharp in front and back, looks sharp in front and back. So, you're "beginning to see the light" ;D

hyper focus..doesn't means that horizon can be slanted Hyper focus looks ok to me..just that the background tree are abit too in the shadow to see enough details Composition wise ..not very interesting..but i guess you all were practicing hyper focus and maybe sort of forgot about composition.. To have a successful hyper focus shot.. Composition, exposure must be good..as everything in a hyper focus pictures can be seen.. My 2 cents

the 2nd pic lah. there is a jazz song from the late fifties called "Beginning to see the Light" - most appropriate for photography and one of my favourite. So, she would have got a great pic if there are sunrays coming out from the clouds. ;D

There is always condition to make a picture look nice. Knowing the correct technique and applying it is 1 thing, the correct condition to create a beautiful image is another. Lot of element plays apart in photography.
