On that 4 days in Penang we had durian 3 times foe the 5 of us. It was rm 220, 230 and 250, a total of 700 Rm cost wise but it was well worth it. We had XO, Raja Kunit, "Ang Geh", 222, and even the grandfather of Ang Geh. "Ang Gin" one of the best here will not be available until mid to late August. This is in Jalan McAlister Actual address and details are: Penang Ah Teik Durian Stall Lorong Susu, 10400 Penang H/P:012-4383881, 016-4158579 www.pixnet.net/blog/profile/durianteikAnother dining experience would be Perut Rumah Nonya Cuisine as 17 Jalan Kelawei. It is peranakaan with a thai influence, sort of fusion but interesting and nice. Above is nasi Ulam nice but I think too much of that green vege so instead of tasting the rice I get a mouthful of vege. Above are 4 dishes, the one in front is pork, on the right is chicken curry and behind is ladies fingers in sambal. The sambal is nice. Setting is nice pernakaan style with old marble table and nonya artifacts.
