This sunrise pic was shot with GND so as to bring out some details of the hut and rocks. should I crop off more of the beach? Is the reflection n sticks disturbing in this picture? Kindly please comment on all other aspect as well. Thanks Aperture: F16 Shutter : 1/30 ISO : 100

What is disturbing is the SUN .. it is still very over exposed Time to learn the concept of "Less is more" .. ask Mr Chan I took the liberty and did this version .. Let me know if you want me to remove the attachment Cheers Just my 2 cents

Thanks Mr LowLights, who doesn't know you? Once again thanks for showing how framing off the irritating light can improve a picture dramatically. yeah will remember this, firstlight doesn't necessary need a sun in the frame ; ) KISS

The mood is there but the sun is not there.

The mood is definitely there and as the title is first light and not sunrise, the picture will stand without the sun, Mr Lowlight, I like the just nice details of the foreground that sets the mood - that the sunlight is slowly but surely lighting up the foreground and everything will be bright soon - the coming of a new day.
