Chief, go ahead and swipe the card. Canon 1Dmk4 is impressive. Good AF tracking and HDVideo function. My Friend is already using one weeks ago and he says Bird in flights is so easy to track.

For those interested in looking at the kind of pictures taken with the 1D Mk4 heres a link. I like the black and white and the background bokeh on some of the lens usedwith this camera. www.pbase.com/demchinsky/phoebe_chris_pre

Yep looks like the 1D Mk 4 and D3S are about the same standard.

I dont know about you guys but even though my 1Dmk3 can perform well at ISO1250 with no noise, I still use up to ISO400 99% of the time. For machinegun speed, I can tell you to forget about it, out of 10 photos, you will get only 1 or 2 usable. Gone are the days where i though I will not miss anything if my camera speed is fast. If I shoot frame by frame, at least I know every frame is in focus and in good composition when I press the shutter.
What I like on the 1Dmk4 over my current mk3
1. Video function is good. Take better video than my HF100. No need to drag along my Video cam which drinks battery juice like no body business.
2. Faster and more accurate AF speed.
The rest are not so much concern to me. So ask me if I will upgrade? Answer is NO.
