All the picture appear dark on my monitor. Try shoot plus 1 stop under canopy or backlight ( Plus 1 stop equal to minus 1 stop of shutter ). Picture 1 and 2 Yellow Bittern Bird is ok but background not pleasing, the whole pond had become background which is not nice. Try to as low as possible . Picture 3 and 4 Sea eagle Appear to be under a bit. Try shoot plus 1 stop under canopy or backlight ( Plus 1 stop equal to minus 1 stop of shutter ) Did you fill the background blue? Picture 1 and 2 sparrow. Sparrow not facing you no eye contact. Picture 1 and 2 Long tail strike. 1 too up skirt Try to shoot less den 45 degree. 2 No eye contact. Picture 2 and 3 common flame back woodpecker Position yourself to color background, white or grey dun work well as background. Last 1 collared kingfisher No eye contact. Try to shoot less den 45 degree. You might need a longer lens to solve some of the problem.

Eye contact meaning the head facing you instant of the other side, when the head is facing you it look like one of the eye is looking at you similar to macro. Actually if you have the right tools you can product my type of shot also. Long lens really play an important part unless you are near the subject but chances are slim. Sad to say if you keep trying the result will still be the same. Feather color and detail are really attractive but a lot dun understand that you need the reach to shoot that kind of profile and bring in the detail. Limited by reach.... agree? Dun get poison hor... ;D

Photos seem a bit too saturated and a bit warm or did you adjust the contrast. For Birds, best is to set picture style to Neutral. I find that Neutral retains more details. I dont know what setting is best for Nikon though.
Overall sharpness is ok.
Ps Dont be poisoned by Marcus. ;D
